Nowadays, video cameras protrude from stoplights at busy intersections, from streetlights along city streets, in school hallways, play yards and cafeterias, in hospitals, and in retails stores . . . You can find them just about everywhere.
Along with this proliferation of video cameras has come a proportionate increase in video clips – splashed across the Internet – of people caught unaware on camera performing rash, foolish and even dishonest acts.
Now there is an outcry from the public that the ubiquity of these cameras has compromised their freedom.
This matter is being debated.
Whatever the outcome of this debate however, people should know that regardless of video cameras, living entities in the material world are being watched at every moment; and every one of their acts: good, bad, or devotional – is being watched and recorded for future review.
“The sun, fire, sky, air, demigods, moon, evening, day, night, directions, water, land and Supersoul Himself all witness the activities of the living entity.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.1.42)
