Wish fulfilling Cow

In the Gita Mahatmya, Glorification of the Gita, the Bhagavad-gita is compared to a wish-fulfilling cow.

Krsna, who is famous as a cowherd boy, is milking the cow of Bhagavad-gita, feeding its precious milk to Arjuna, who is like a calf. Because the Gita is a transcendental cow, She gives unlimited milk, enough for everyone in the universe to drink their fill.

As I read the Gita each morning, my mind is satisfied, my intellect cleaned, and my soul nourished.

Everyone is working hard, searching for knowledge, satisfaction, and happiness; all these are immediately available to one who worships the Bhagavad-gita by reading it daily.

“And I declare that he who studies this sacred conversation of ours worships Me by his intelligence.” (Lord Sri Krsna, Bg. 18.70)

With gratitude and affection,
