Good to Great

There are many good causes in life. However, there is only one truly great cause: Going back to Godhead.

Similarly, there are many important duties one must perform each day. Among these duties, some are merely good; whereas, others are great because they contribute to the greatest cause of one’s life.

Bhakti yogis identify which duties in their lives are merely good and which are great so that they can spend as much time as possible on the great ones each day.

Those who take care to complete their great duties each day lead a life of greatness and go back to Godhead at the end of life.

“Therefore, with one-pointed attention, one should constantly hear about, glorify, remember and worship the Personality of Godhead, who is the protector of the devotees.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.2.14)
